The bottom support of the deck tile is formed using an additional 3 pieces of matching hardwood. By using the same wood on the back of the tiles, it creates a supported wood deck tile with no sag. Our tiles are assembled with stainless steel fasteners for long term use and durability.

Installation: Batu Wood Deck tiles can easily transform any flat surface into a beautiful outdoor living space. One of the things that makes these deck tiles unique is that they can often be installed directly on top of a pre-existing flat surface such as a concrete, existing patios or balconies. Depending on if lay them parallel to one another or perpendicular to each other you can create a variety of looks/designs. This type of installation allows for an easier install for homeowners and families looking for a weekend project that will bring warmth and beauty to their living space. In addition, it allows you to have a beautiful hardwood deck on top of a patio without building the framework.

Deck Tiles are perfect for those who rent because they will not affect the property (holes, etc.), they are easy to both install and un-install and can be taken to your new location with you. This means that the landlord won’t have to worry about the leftover structure or damage and you won’t have to lose your security deposit!

Our outdoor wood deck tiles are 100% compatible with the DeckWise pedestal support system and interlocking snap together tile clips.

Cutting Deck Tiles - Perpendicular - Cutting our Deck Tiles is actually easier than it looks. To cut perpendicular across your tile, begin by unscrewing the center support beam on the bottom of your tile and make your perpendicular cut. After cutting off the desired amount, remove the outer-support from the side that you won’t be using. You can now install that outer-support on the new edge of your cut piece. Once this has been done, take the center support beam and re-install it in the center of the freshly cut Deck Tile. Now you have the custom size tile that you need!

Cutting Deck Tiles - Parallel - When cutting parallel to the top boards on your tile, remove the center support from the bottom of your deck tile. This leaves you with a ready-to-cut tile. Then, cut your tile at your desired width. You can now re-install the center support accordingly. If there is no longer enough room to install the center support, you can forgo this process. However, we recommend re-installing the center support if at all possible for support. Now you have your custom sized tile!
